Common Themes in Client Feedback
While every client's experience is different, many describe therapy as a place where they feel understood, validated, and encouraged to explore new perspectives. Clients often appreciate the balance of warmth, curiosity, humor, and thoughtful challenge that I bring to the therapeutic relationship.
Through our work together, many people report feeling less overwhelmed by their emotions, more connected to themselves and others, and more confident in navigating life's complexities with greater flexibility, self-compassion, and intention.
“Katie was my therapist for about a year. She was both sincere and validating but was quick with humor which I appreciated. I told her that I worked best when given homework and something to think about in between sessions so she would send me creative writing prompts based on our session and I always thought that was so cool and helpful.”

“Katie was one of the facilitators in a DBT group that I was in and I found that her examples that she gave and questions she asked made me feel more comfortable in sharing my own experiences and asking questions in the group. This group was so helpful for me and I was thankful that she was helping lead the group.”

“Katie was the first therapist I ever had. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical of the process but I promised my wife I would give it a shot. She made me feel warm and welcome and validated and helped me to be able to pick out unhealthy thought patterns that would lead to unhelpful thoughts and communication with others. I am so thankful for this experience!”

“Katie was one of the facilitators in my therapy group for moms. She was really good at asking the group thoughtful questions that made us in the group feel more connected. I thought I was the only one going through so much of what I was postpartum but in this group - everything felt more normalized. So thankful for her in that group during such a crazy time.”

“I came to Katie with chronic anxiety that made it difficult for me to feel successful in my workplace. I was always doubting myself and feeling walked on. Through working with Katie, I was able to speak up for myself in a rational and objective way - something I never thought I could do. I know feel respected by my peers and I'm able to leave work at work and have more energy to participate in hobbies I enjoy.”
